About the Author

Steven Butler is married with four children and five grandchildren. He attended Eastern Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry, a Master of Arts in Secondary Curriculum, and Education Specialist in Educational Leadership. 

Steven has had a rich set of educational experiences and a long-term commitment to Christ, which have given him a unique perspective of the challenges that Christian schools face today. He has been an educator for over forty-five years, having served as a teacher, elementary and secondary school principal in both the public and Christian school sectors, assessment director, and assistant superintendent. In addition, he has served on both Christian school and church boards. He has been an adjunct professor, accreditation chair, and educational consultant and is an experienced school-improvement specialist with a demonstrated history of success in assisting schools.

He enjoys photography, hiking, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
